Mounting Debts

It was a busy saturday that made me realize how tiring I was after the end of the day. I tried to count what I have gone through within the week. Oh gush, number one on my list book are my monthly dues.It makes me sick everytime I have a checklist of this listbook I have. Dues, dues , dues ....remains a constant word. Always part of my top ten list of Things-to-do checklist. My goal is to kick this out in the top ten list but how could I, having this fixed income I have. Passive income would have been an answer to this top ten break out. Unfortunately, there were only few reliable passive income these days, its always been a part of a take-risk-attitude.

Im still grateful enough because last week I was about to kick one of this top ten checklist. It was a great feeling having been like taking one thorn crowned over head or it was like putting down one load from an overloaded shoulder. Yeah, it is..now, I planned to take one kicked in the list too. But takes time anyway to eliminate one.At least for a moment I have one eliminated from the list.Hahahahah. It was like having a fight that you have to defeat and make a counterstrike among your strong enemies.

According to some experts it is better to pay one whole amount of your high interest debts than to save it in the bank and pay only the minimum/required monthly bills. One of its reason is you are just saving your money for others, considering that your annual interest income derive from your money save in the bank is less than the interest expense you are spending for a high yielding interest of your debt/obligation. Another is the monthly interest will make your debts grows monthly where you will find no savings at all.

But the fact is it is really hard to minimize debts this time due to increasing number of banks offering credit cards. The more credit cards you have the more you increase your wants. It is really hard to distinguished wants and needs anymore when you know you can get what u want anytime you wanted. Yeah, thats what happening to me and to some. The mounting debts....it is so hard to minimize when you're about to see it's growing. Its only remedy is to eliminate high interest debts one by one. BUT TAKES TIME!!!

Doing Everything Right, But Hair Still Frizz?

Here are some tips from Ivillage:

Genetics, to be frank. Your hair is obviously prone to the frizzies. Hey, it happens. You're doing everything right, especially avoiding the blow-dryer and using a comb (sparingly, we hope).

Here's one thing you can try right away: Shampoo less. Use small amounts of conditioner instead, rinse hair well, and see if you don't notice a difference in a few days.

Some shampoos contain harsh ingredients that suds beautifully but strip your hair of moisture. This added dryness can cause frizzies.

Or, try a high-density, silicon anti-frizz serum. These can leave behind a bit of a residue, so apply carefully and make sure to avoid the scalp. Once you get out of the shower, towel dry hair and finger this bonding serum into the hair from about the middle of the strand down to the end. Don't comb it -- in fact, be careful your fingers don't brush through the hair too much. Let it dry, and you'll see shiny, manageable curls held in place as if by magic.

The Club 99

Powerful Story about Stress Relief Strategy: THE CLUB 99 ............ ....

Some time ago, there lived a King. This king should have been contented with his life, given all the riches and luxuries he had. However, this was not the case! The King always found himself wondering why he just never seemed content with his life.

Sure, he had the attention of everyone wherever he went, attended fancy dinners and parties, but somehow, he still felt something was lacking and he couldn't put his finger on it.

One day, the King had woken up earlier than usual to stroll around his palace. He entered his huge living room and came to a stop when he heard someone happily singing away... following this singing... he saw that one of the servants was singing and had a very contented look on his face.
This fascinated the King and he summoned this man to his chambers.

The man entered the King's chambers as ordered. The King asked why he was so happy?

To this the man replied: "Your Majesty, I am nothing but a servant, but I make enough of a living to keep my wife and children happy. We don't need too much, a roof over our heads and warm food to fill our tummy. My wife and children are my inspiration, they are content with whatever little I bring home. I am happy because my family is happy."

Hearing this, the King dismissed the servant and summoned his Personal Assistant to his chambers.

The King related his personal anguish about his feelings and then related the story of the servant to his Personal Assistant, hoping that somehow, he will be able to come up with some reasoning that here was a King who could have anything he wished for at a snap of his fingers and yet was not contented, whereas, his servant, having so little was extremely contented.

The Personal Assistant listened attentively and came to a conclusion. He said, "Your Majesty, I believe that the servant has not been made part of The 99 Club."
"The 99 Club? And what exactly is that?" the King inquired.

To which the Assistant replied, "Your Majesty, to truly know what The 99 Club is, you will have to do the following... place 99 Gold coins in a bag and leave it at this servant's doorstep, you will then understand what The 99 Club is."
That very same evening, the King arranged for 99 Gold coins to be placed in a bag at the servant's doorstep. Although he was slightly hesitant and he thought he should have put 100 Gold coins into the bag, but since his assistant had advised him to put 99 that is what he did.

The servant was just stepping out of his house when he saw a bag at his doorstep. Wondering about its contents, he took it into his house and opened the bag. When he opened the bag, he let out a great big shout of joy...Gold Coins... so many of them. He could hardly believe it. He called his wife to show her the coins.

He then took the bag to a table and emptied it out and began to count the coins. Doing so, he realized that there were 99 coins and he thought it was an odd number so he counted again, and again and again only to come to the same conclusion.. . 99 Gold Coins.

He began to wonder, what could have happened to that last 1 coin? For no one would leave 99 coins. He began to search his entire house, looked around his backyard for hours, not wanting to lose out on that one coin. Finally, exhausted, he decided that he was going to have to work harder than ever to make up for that 1 Gold coin to make his entire collection an even 100 Gold Coins.

He got up the next morning, in an extremely horrible mood, shouting at the children and his wife for his delay, not realizing that he had spent most of the night conjuring ways of working hard so that he had enough money to buy himself that gold coin. He went to work as usual - but not in his usual best mood, singing happily - as he grumpily did his daily errands.
Seeing the man's attitude change so drastically, the King was puzzled. He promptly summoned his assistant to his chambers. The King related his thoughts about the servant and once again, his assistant listened. The King could not believe that the servant who until yesterday had been singing away and was happy and content with his life had taken a sudden change of attitude, even though he should have been happier after receiving the gold coins.
To this the assistant replied "Ah! But your Majesty, the servant has now officially joined The 99 Club." He explained: "The 99 Club is just a name given to those people who have everything but yet are never contented, therefore they are always working hard and striving for that extra 1 to round it out to 100!
We have so much to be thankful for and we can live with very little in our lives, but the minute we are given something bigger and better, we want even more!

Lesson to learn from this Story:

We are not the same happy contented person we used to be, we want more and more and by wanting more and more we don't realize the price we pay for it.

We lose our sleep, our happiness; we hurt the people around us just as a price to pay for our growing needs and desires.

That is what joining The 99 Club is all about."

Hearing this the King decided that from that day onwards, he was going to start appreciating all the little things in life.

Striving for more is always good, but let's not strive so hard and for so much that we loses all those near and dear to our hearts, we shouldn't compromise our happiness for moments of luxuries!

'D Wife

A married man was visiting his "girlfriend" when she requested that he
shave his beard.
"Oh James, I like your beard, but I would really love to see your
handsome face."
James replied, "My wife loves this beard, I couldn't possibly do it,
she would kill me!"
"Oh please?" the girlfriend asked again, in a sexy little voice.
"Oh really, I can't," he replies. "My wife loves this beard!!"
The girlfriend asked once more, and he sighs and finally gives in.
That night James crawls into bed with his wife while she is sleeping.
The wife is awakened somewhat, feels his face and replies "Oh Michael,
you shouldn't be here, my husband will be home soon!"

All about 1000 MARBLES

The older I get, the more I enjoy Saturday mornings. Perhaps it's the quiet

solitude that comes with being the first to rise, or maybe it's the

unbounded joy of not having to be at work. Either way, the first few hours

of a Saturday morning are most enjoyable.

A few weeks ago, I was shuffling toward the garage with a steaming cup of

coffee in one hand and the morning paper in the other. What began as a

typical Saturday morning turned into one of those lessons that life seems to

hand you from time to time. Let me tell you about it:

I turned the dial up into the phone portion of the band on my ham radio in

order to listen to a Saturday morning swap net. Along the way, I came

across an older sounding chap, with a tremendous signal and a golden voice.

You know the kind; he sounded like he should be in the broadcasting

business. He was telling whom-ever he was talking with something about "a

thousand marbles." I was intrigued and stopped to listen to what he had to

say

"Well, Tom, it sure sounds like you're busy with your job. I'm sure they pay

you well but it's a shame you have to be away from home and your family so

much. Hard to believe a young fellow should have to work sixty or seventy

hours a week to make ends meet. It's too bad you missed your daughter's

"dance recital" he continued. "Let me tell you something that has helped me

keep my own priorities." And that's when he began to explain his theory of a

"thousand marbles."

"You see, I sat down one day and did a little arithmetic. The average

person lives about seventy-five years. I know, some live more and some live

less, but on average, folks live about seventy-five years.

"Now then, I multiplied 75 times 52 and I came up with 3900, which is the

number of Saturdays t hat the average person has in their entire lifetime.

Now, stick with me, Tom, I'm getting to the important part.

It took me until I was fifty-five years old to think about all this in any

detail", he went on, "and by that time I had lived through over twenty-eight

hundred Saturdays." "I got to thinking that if I lived to be seventy-five, I

only had about a thousand of them left to enjoy. So I went to a toy store

and bought every single marble they had. I ended up having to visit three

toy stores to round up 1000 marbles. I took them home and put them inside a

large, clear plastic container right here in the shack next to my gear."

"Every Saturday since then, I have taken one marble out and thrown it away.

I found that by watching the marbles diminish, I focused more on the really

important things in life.

There is nothing like watching your time here on this earth run out to help get your priorities straight."

"Now let me tell you one last thing before I sign-off with you and take my

lovely wife out for breakfast. This morning, I took the very last marble out

of the container. I figure that if I make it until next Saturday then I have

been given a little extra time. And the one thing we can all use is a little

more time."

"It was nice to meet you Tom, I hope you spend more time with your family,

and I hope to meet you again here on the band. This is a 75 Year old Man,

K9NZQ, clear and going QRT, good morning!"

You could have heard a pin drop on the band when this fellow signed off. I

guess he gave us all a lot to think about. I had planned to work on the

antenna that morning, and then I was going to meet up with a few hams to

work on the next club newsletter.

Instead, I went upstairs and woke my wife up with a kiss. "C'mon honey, I'm

taking you and the kids to breakfast" "What brought this on?" she asked with

a smile. "Oh, nothing special, it's just been a long time since we spent a

Saturday together with the kids. And hey, can we stop at a toy store while

we're out? I need to buy some marbles.

And so, as one smart bear once said..."If you live to be a hundred, I want

to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you."

- Winnie the Pooh.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!

A stock clerk was sent to clean up a storeroom in Maui , Hawaii .

When he got back, he was complaining that the storeroom was really filthy and that he had noticed dried mouse or rat droppings in some areas.
A couple of days later, he started to feel like he was coming down with a stomach flu, complained of sore joints and headaches, and began to vomit.

He went to bed and never really got up again. Within two days he was severely ill and weak. His blood sugar count was down to 66, and his face and eyeballs were yellow. He was rushed to the emergency at Pali-Momi, where he was diagnosed to be suffering from massive organ failure. He died sh ortly before midnight.
No one would have made the connection between his job and his death, had it not been for a doctor who specifically asked if he had been in a warehouse or exposed to dried rat or mouse droppi! ngs at any time. They said there is a virus (much like the Hanta virus) that lives in dried rat and mouse droppings.

Once dried, these droppings are like dust and can easily be breathed in or ingested if a person does not wear protective gear or fails to wash face and hands thoroughly .
An autopsy was performed on the clerk to verify the doctor's suspicions.

This is why it is extremely important to ALWAYS carefully rinse off the tops of canned sodas or foods, and to wipe off pasta packaging, cereal boxes, and so on.
Almost everything you buy in a supermarket was stored in a warehouse at one time or another, and stores themselves often have rodents.

Most of us remember to wash vegetables and fruits bu! t never think of boxes and cans.
The ugly truth is, even the most modern, upper-class, super store has rats and mice. And their warehouse most assuredly does!

Whenever you buy any canned soft drink, please make sure that you wash the top with running water and soap or, if that is not available, drink with a straw.
The investigation of soda cans by the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta discovered that the tops of soda cans can be encrusted with dried rat's urine, which is so toxic it can be lethal. Canned drinks and other foodstuffs are stored in warehouses and containers that are usually infested with Rodents, and then they get transported to retail outlets without being properly cleaned.

THE ORGANIST

There was a church down in Texas that had a very big-busted organist. Her breasts were so huge that they bounced and jiggled while she played the organ.

Unfortunately, she distracted the congregation considerably. The very proper church ladies were appalled. They said something had to be done about this or they would have to get another organist.

One of the ladies approached her very discreetly and told her to mash up some green persimmons, and rub them on her breasts and maybe they would shrink in size, but warned her to not eat any of the green persimmons though because they are so sour, they will make your mouth pucker up and you won't be able to talk properly for a while. She agreed to try it.

The following Sunday morning the minister got up on the pulpit and said. "Dew to thircumsthanthis bewond my contwol we will not hath a thermon tewday

Money and Happiness

Prosperty is everybody's aspiration. I would say those who were claiming themselves that they don't have the desire to have money are unethical. Human being has these dreams of having wealth that could support their daily needs and wants. So as much as we love prosperity, abundance, and wealth. Many are turning their ways of being selfish. They wanted to remain as such just to achieve the greatest desire. The more we have the urge to have this financial freedom the increase of our energy levels pushes us to be greedy. Some has their sickness of forgetfulness. Overlook of what? These were the failures to remember that we are stepping on other's head. These clearly states that were overwhelm of having these possessions.

Yearning for having an ample time for the family are employees' scream. Day by day they wanted to shout and say I want to spend time to my daughter, play basketball with my son, have a good time with wife/husband.Cook the favorite meal of my partner, make cookies for children. Yes, it is and remains to be just a plan due to lack of time. Hurry hours makes us the forgetfullness of our planned activities. Those were the time we have this urge of having a desire towards financial capability. But is it really these monetary value makes us the hindrance towards happiness and self- satisfaction?

What does money brings? Is it happiness? Well, not at all. But we almost misapprehend that money buys happiness. It was not the happiness that you bought but it was the time the extra time that you wanted to have. The freedom to exercise and enjoy life to its fulfillment by not fearing of loosing ones financial capability. Aspiring money isnt bad enough only if we have to know our actions beneficial between you and fellowmen.

Let's keep on aspiring to have this financial freedom to the extent that we can. But the key to this is self satisfaction of fulfillment. Acknowledging little things done daily is an important tool to make us satisfied. So let's be thankful of our daily blessings to meet our longing happiness. It was just simple to be happy . BE SATISFIED of your day to day achievements...So simple yet not easy in this craving world.
